Across the wider web, 71% of real Astro sites pass Core Web Vitals, against 48% on WordPress and 35% on Next.js — HTTP Archive and the Chrome UX Report, published by the Astro team. We build on that head start rather than spending it.

What you get when you open the repo

Written the way Astro's own docs tell you to

No runtime, no license server, no wrapper package. The source is yours the moment you buy it.

01

Content collections, already typed

Zod schemas on every collection, so a missing frontmatter field fails the build instead of the page.

02

Bring your own CMS

A build-time loader for content you can prerender, plus a live loader when the data has to be fresh on request.

03

One token file to rebrand

Colour, radius, spacing and type scale live in a single stylesheet. Six values is usually the whole job.

04

Islands only where they earn it

Client islands hydrate on visible or on idle; server islands defer personalised parts. Everything else is HTML that never wakes up.

05

Multilingual and RTL from page one

Locale routing, hreflang tags and mirrored layouts for right-to-left languages are wired before you start.

06

Adapters already configured

Static by default, on-demand rendering where you ask for it. Actions and sessions are set up for the contact form.

Questions people ask before buying

What is the Digital Agency Astro Theme?

It is a premium Astro website template for creative agencies, digital marketing companies, branding studios and web design agencies. It includes a homepage, inner pages, case studies, services, a blog and a contact form, all ready to customise.

Do I need to know Astro to use this theme?

Basic HTML and Markdown knowledge is enough for most changes. Agency details live in one settings file, and services, case studies and blog posts are plain Markdown files. The README walks you through every step.

Which Astro version does the theme use?

The theme is built with Astro 7 and requires Node.js 22.12 or newer for local development. Your web server does not need Node.js, because the site builds to static files.

Can I host it on Hostinger, cPanel or shared hosting?

Yes. Run the build, then upload the contents of the dist folder to public_html. An .htaccess file for Apache and LiteSpeed is included, with a custom 404 page, compression and caching. Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages and GitHub Pages work too.

Is the theme SEO-friendly?

Yes. Every page has its own title, meta description, canonical URL, Open Graph and Twitter tags. The theme also generates JSON-LD structured data, an XML sitemap, robots.txt and an RSS feed.

Does the contact form work out of the box?

The form is ready to connect to Formspree, Web3Forms, Netlify Forms or your own API. Until you add an endpoint, it runs in demo mode and clearly says messages are not being sent.

Can I change the colors and fonts?

Yes. All colors, border radius and font families are CSS variables in one tokens file. Change the green accent once and it updates across the whole website.

Is the theme responsive and accessible?

Yes. The layouts were tested from 320px to 1920px. The theme includes an accessible mobile menu, keyboard-friendly sliders, a native FAQ accordion, labelled forms, visible focus states and reduced-motion support.

Does it use React or another JavaScript framework?

No. The theme uses Astro components, custom CSS and small vanilla JavaScript files. Swiper.js loads only on pages that contain a slider, which keeps the site lightweight.

Are the demo images included?

Yes. 50 optimised WebP images are included, with photographer credits listed in the README. You should replace them with your own work before launch.
