The Podcast Astro Theme by VelixaThemes is a fast, modern podcast website template built for creators, interview shows and podcast networks. It gives your show a polished home for every episode, host and story, with a dark, cinematic design and warm orange accents that make your audio content stand out. Built on Astro, it ships as a fully static site, so pages load almost instantly and rank well in search.
Whether you run a business podcast, a creator interview series, a storytelling show or a video podcast, this Astro podcast theme gives you everything you need to grow an audience, without writing a backend or paying for a page builder.
Most podcast website builders are slow, bloated or locked into one hosting platform. The Podcast Astro Theme takes a different approach. It uses Astro’s static site generation to produce lightweight HTML pages with almost no JavaScript. Site-wide scripts weigh about 2 KB gzipped, and the Swiper slider library loads only on pages that actually use a carousel.
The result is a podcast website that feels premium, loads fast on mobile, and stays easy to maintain. You own the code, you choose the host, and you can deploy to Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages or any standard web host.
Every part of the theme is designed around how podcasts actually work.
The Podcast Astro Theme includes 19 professionally designed page types, so your site is complete from day one:
A podcast website should do more than list episodes. This theme helps you turn listeners into supporters and partners.
Search visibility is built in, not bolted on. Every page includes a custom title, meta description, canonical URL, Open Graph tags and X (Twitter) cards. The theme also adds structured data (JSON-LD) for PodcastSeries, PodcastEpisode, Person, BlogPosting, BreadcrumbList and FAQPage, which helps search engines understand your show and its episodes.
An XML sitemap, robots.txt and clean URLs are generated automatically. Combined with fast static pages and optimized WebP images, the Podcast Astro Theme gives your show a strong technical SEO foundation.
The theme is tested at 16 screen widths, from 320px phones to 1920px desktops, with no horizontal scrolling. It includes a skip link, keyboard-friendly navigation, a focus-trapped mobile menu, accessible FAQ accordions, labelled audio controls and carousels, and full support for users who prefer reduced motion.
You don’t need to dig through dozens of files to make the site yours. Content and settings live in clear, typed locations:
A detailed README walks you through installation, adding episodes, connecting audio, setting up the podcast RSS feed, connecting forms and deploying your site.
The Podcast Astro Theme is ideal for independent podcasters, interview and business shows, creator and education podcasts, news and commentary programs, video podcasts and podcast networks. It also suits agencies and developers who build websites for podcast clients and want a reliable, high-quality starting point.
Give your show the home it deserves. With fast performance, built-in podcast SEO, a working audio player and every page you need, the Podcast Astro Theme lets you focus on making great episodes while your website does the rest.
Audited on every release. If a component costs more than it's worth, it doesn't ship.
Across the wider web, 71% of real Astro sites pass Core Web Vitals, against 48% on WordPress and 35% on Next.js — HTTP Archive and the Chrome UX Report, published by the Astro team. We build on that head start rather than spending it.
No runtime, no license server, no wrapper package. The source is yours the moment you buy it.
Zod schemas on every collection, so a missing frontmatter field fails the build instead of the page.
A build-time loader for content you can prerender, plus a live loader when the data has to be fresh on request.
Colour, radius, spacing and type scale live in a single stylesheet. Six values is usually the whole job.
Client islands hydrate on visible or on idle; server islands defer personalised parts. Everything else is HTML that never wakes up.
Locale routing, hreflang tags and mirrored layouts for right-to-left languages are wired before you start.
Static by default, on-demand rendering where you ask for it. Actions and sessions are set up for the contact form.
The Podcast Astro Theme is a premium podcast website template built with Astro by VelixaThemes. It includes episode pages, a working audio player, host and topic pages, a blog, podcast RSS, sponsorship and guest pages, and built-in SEO.
Basic familiarity with a code editor and the command line helps. Episodes, hosts and blog posts are simple Markdown files, and site settings live in one config file. The included README explains every step, from installation to deployment.

The theme includes a membership section and page, but it doesn't process payments itself. Link each plan to your checkout on Patreon, Supercast, Memberful, Stripe Payment Links or a similar service.
