Visits

What conditions can be treated online?

Clinicians on platforms like this commonly help with colds, flu, sinus symptoms, allergies, skin concerns, urinary symptoms, anxiety, low mood and ongoing conditions such as high blood pressure. If your clinician decides you need in-person care, they will tell you and help you find it.

How does appointment booking work?

Choose the type of care you need, pick a clinician and a time, add your details and confirm. You can also join the on-demand queue to see the next available clinician.

Can I choose my doctor?

Yes. Browse clinician profiles, read about their experience and book directly with the person you prefer, subject to their availability.

Can I receive follow-up care?

Yes. Your visit summary includes next steps, and you can message your care team or book a follow-up visit from your account.

What happens if I need in-person care?

Some concerns need a physical exam, tests or imaging. Your clinician will explain why and suggest suitable next steps. For emergencies, contact your local emergency services.

Prescriptions

Can doctors prescribe medication?

When a clinician decides it is medically appropriate, they can send a prescription to the pharmacy you choose. Prescribing is always at the clinician’s discretion, and some medications cannot be prescribed through virtual visits.

Billing

Do you accept insurance?

This demo theme lists example health plans. A real provider would explain which plans are accepted and show your estimated cost before the visit. Flat-rate visits in this demo start at $49.

Can I cancel or reschedule a visit?

Yes. Appointments can be changed from your account. The demo policy allows free changes up to two hours before the visit.

Privacy

Is my information private?

Visits take place over an encrypted video connection and health records are stored with access controls. Before launch, replace this answer with an accurate description of your own privacy and security practices.

Technology

What do I need for a video visit?

A smartphone, tablet or computer with a camera, a microphone and a stable internet connection. Find a quiet, well-lit spot and have a list of your current medications ready.

Do I need to download an app?

No. Visits work in a modern web browser. The optional mobile app adds reminders, messaging and prescription tracking.

Family care

Are pediatric visits available?

Yes. Pediatric clinicians can see children for many everyday concerns. A parent or guardian must be present for the whole visit.

In an emergency: If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency room.
