Long conversations for people building things

Podcast is a weekly show of long-form conversations with founders, creators and thinkers about the decisions that shaped their work and lives.

Our story

It started with one borrowed room

In 2023 two friends — a former radio journalist and a product lead turned founder coach — recorded a conversation in a borrowed room with a microphone neither of them really knew how to use. They wanted to hear how people actually make big decisions, without the polish of a keynote.

148 episodes later, the format hasn't changed much: one guest, one hour, and the time to think out loud. What has changed is the audience — now listeners in nearly a hundred countries who are in the middle of building something of their own.

Our philosophy

We make the show we wished existed: honest, unhurried and genuinely useful. These are the production values behind every episode.

Room to think

Every guest gets a full hour. We cut for clarity, never to make someone sound sharper than they were.

No paid placements

Guests never pay to appear and sponsors never choose who we interview. Ads are always clearly marked.

Useful show notes

Every episode ships with timestamps, key takeaways and links to every book, tool and idea mentioned.

Studio-grade sound

We record locally on both ends whenever possible, so the conversation sounds like you are in the room.

Jordan Hayes

Co-host and producer

Jordan spent eight years as a radio journalist before founding two startups — one that failed loudly and one that sold quietly. He started Podcast to have the conversations he wishes someone had recorded for him when he was 25 and unsure what to do next.

Maya Collins

Co-host and interviewer

Maya is a former product lead and a coach to first-time founders. She brings a researcher's patience to every interview and has a habit of finding the one story a guest has never told on air.

Sam Rivera

Audio producer and bonus-episode host

Sam engineers every episode and hosts the monthly Podcast Plus bonus show, where listeners' questions meet the guests' follow-up answers.
