Biography
Sam Rivera has been the show’s audio producer since episode 12. Before that, Sam mixed records for independent bands and spent three years building sound for small documentary films.
Every episode passes through Sam’s studio twice: once for a rough cut that the hosts review, and once for the final mix, loudness and mastering. Sam is the reason guests who record from hotel rooms still sound like they are sitting across the table.
The bonus show
Each month Sam hosts a short bonus episode for Podcast Plus members, collecting listener questions and taking them back to recent guests for follow-up answers. It started as an experiment and became one of the most requested parts of the membership.
